Accessibility & Accommodations

WEBSITE ACCESSIBILITY STATEMENT

Grae Media is committed to making its website, products, and services accessible to everyone by meeting or exceeding the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) requirements.

We have partnered with accessiBe, a website accessibility software company, to conduct an audit of our website and provide us with specific tools and recommendations that will assist us in ensuring that our web presence is in conformance with the WCAG 2.0 AA.

You can access our accessibility tools by clicking the small accessibility icon (human silhouette) in the corner of your screen.

Please be aware that our efforts are ongoing as we implement the relevant improvements to meet WCAG 2.0 AA guidelines over time. If you encounter an accessibility issue, please report the affected web page and section. We will take all reasonable steps to make that page accessible. To report a problem, or if you need assistance using our website or services, please get in touch with us by completing the form at the bottom of this page.

Are Your Videos Accessible?

Absolutely! We believe the world should be accessible to everyone and consciously incorporate that belief into everything we do. When using video for marketing, many clients don't realize they must include captions or transcriptions alongside their media, so we handle it for them.

We'll ensure that your captions are spell-checked, accurately time-synced, and can be enabled or disabled as needed (Closed Captions "CC" where supported). Some content may also require a time-synced transcript in addition to captions. We can provide these as branded PDFs or as a section on your website. Let us know if your project or audience has specific accessibility needs, and we'll take the necessary steps to make it happen.

Are Your Photos Accessible?

We typically include photo meta-tags (visual descriptions used for accessibility tools like screen readers) for clients with recurring service agreements. One-time website and photography clients must provide meta-tags unless otherwise requested. Please let us know if you need meta-tag copywriting. We will include this service in your project proposal for an additional fee. Under current regulations, functionally necessary images require meta-tags, and purely decorative images do not.
